a literary work inspired by the likes of beckett and kafka. it's a tragicomedy about the role of identity within our world, and how we value ourselves.

Really terrific play. It's extremely bleak but amazingly funny. Highly recommend for anyone who likes the darkness and humor of eastern european writers and/or the style of Beckett. A quick read, but nonetheless a very mature addition to Carlyle's catalog. A different kind of project than his novel Portrait of the Rat: As We Sleep that I view as a kind of evolution of many themes that seem to plague the author--nihilism, the comic absurdity of bureaucracy, self-discovery and identity.Product details
